Chris is a highly experienced osteopath with 18 years post-qualification experience. Dr Johnson originally qualified as a nurse but he suffered a back accident himself in the course of his hospital work. After an osteopath helped him recover from the injury he decided that osteopathy would be a noble calling and commenced 4 years of tertiary study to re-qualify. Whilst Chris has a broad general practice he specialises in treating babies and children using cranial osteopathy and he has an M.Sc. in Paediatric Osteopathy.

The two osteopaths at clinic are husband and wife team Kevin and Laurence Beckwith. Both Beckwiths graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 1993 and initially practiced in Central London and in Sussex. Kevin established his Sheffield practice in 1999. In addition to orthodox osteopathy, Kevin is trained in cranial osteopathy, acupuncture and applied kinesiology and combines all these treatments to give his patients access to a wide range of complementary techniques. Laurence Beckwith has a special interest in what is known as visceral osteopathy which involves the use of osteopathic techniques on organs and can be used to treat conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome and a variety of gynaecological maladies. In addition to her osteopathy, Laurence has also qualified as a naturopath and has been practising naturopathy since 1996. Laurence has also worked as an instructor in osteopathy as the ESO.
