Description: The Orchard Osteopathy Clinic aims to promote the osteopathic profession by diagnosing and treating patients for any form of musculoskeletal pain and discomfort.A detailed case history will be taken at the initial assessment to ascertain the diagnosis. The patient will then undergo an active medical examination, most examinations do require the patient to dress down to their underwear so wear something you are comfortable in. From there an appropriate treatment will be given. Treatments are varied and range from deep soft tissue massage, gentle joint articulation, lymphatic drainage and occasional manipulation. Cranial osteopathy is sometimes integrated into the treatment, if Katie thinks the patient will be of benefit. WE TREAT THE CAUSE OF THE UNDERLYING PROBLEM NOT JUST THE SYMPTOMS. Katie graduated in 2011 with a first class honours degree and has since completed the first stage of the Sutherland cranial osetopathy course. She is a very approachable individual and has received excellent patient feedback about the quality of her care. Please don't hesitate to contact the clinic over the phone or email, some free advice maybe the only thing you need or some handy tips to cope with pain in the meantime.
