Devonshire Osteopaths welcomes the NICE guidelines

Devonshire Osteopaths, an Osteopathy clinic in London, and The British Osteopath Association have welcomed guidelines introduced by NICE, The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, to help people manage their lower back problems.

You know what it’s like, your backs hurting but you don’t want to go to the doctors, so you leave and leave it until you get to the point that you can’t even walk.  Well these guidelines have been introduced to give aid to those in such situations, using structured exercises, manual therapy and even advice off the experts.

Peter Beaumont of Devonshire Osteopaths said, “We are glad that manual therapy and informed patient choice are now the backbone of the recommended program. It also assists back pain recovery if patients seek treatment at an early stage before the pain becomes established.”

So from now on make sure to follow the rules and put a stop to the torture before the torture puts a stop to you.
